If I was a Character in Artemis Fowl The Opal Deception…

If I was a character in Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception by: Eoin Colfer and had the power to change an event in the story I certainly would. The character I would become would be Foaly, a centaur and the mastermind of the L.E.P. The event in the story I would change, by using my power, would be to prevent the escape of Opal Koboi from the J. Argon Clinic. The way I would have prevented this would be to keep at least five armed L.E.P.  Officers outside of Opal Koboi’s room at all times. In the book it states, “Gradually, the L.E.P. crews downsized from a dozen to six and finally to a single officer per shift.” If I was Foaly I would have also only let L.E.P. officials into the room to make sure it was actually her and that only L.E.P. officers cleaned her room and not anyone else. If I was Foaly I would have made sure nobody but members of The L.E.P. went in her room. All in all, if I was Foaly I would have used my power to make sure Opal Koboi never escaped her clinic, J. Argon Clinic.
